ABOUT US
Mission Statement
At PRSA, we have created a special and unique environment. We want a place where you, the patient, will be comfortable knowing that all of your needs will be met and all your questions will be answered.
Most of us have had bad experiences at the "doctor's office" where the doctor does not answer all of your questions, is in a hurry, does not listen to your needs, or the staff is not helpful.
Dr. Villalobos wants to make a positive difference in your experience of going to "the doctor". He and his staff are determined to provide you with a warm, inviting and informative office visit.
Dr. Villalobos has trained extensively in plastic surgery and performs all types of plastic surgery. He does cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction after cancer, skin cancer, hand surgery and reimplantation, microvascular surgery, and skin care. He performs all types of cosmetic surgery including breast augmentation, tummy tucks (abdominoplasty), nose jobs (rhinoplasty), liposuction, facelifts, eyelid surgery, and lip augmentation.
Dr. Villalobos feels that a doctor's office should not be an assembly line just doing one operation. This is why he performs all of types of plastic surgery. He wants to treat each patient as a family member and provide for them exactly what they need whether it is a breast augmentation, a breast lift, both, or sometimes no operation at all.
All of us, here at PRSA, are confident you will enjoy your visit and hope that you will consider coming to us for any of your plastic surgery needs.
PROCEDURES
Breast Augmentation
Proportions in a woman's figure are vital to how clothes fit and how a woman feels about herself. Whether child bearing left you with less than you had or you have always wanted the tops to fit with the bottoms, breast augmentation is a safe operation that will help you gain your figure back.
Breast Reduction
Bra strap grooving, neck pain, headaches, upper back pain, irritation under the breasts, these are a few of the common complaints of ladies who seek to have breast reduction surgery. Studies have shown that after their surgery, breast reduction surgery patients, as a group, are the most satisfied patients seen by plastic surgeons.
Breast Reconstruction following Mastectomy
Thanks to the efforts of breast cancer support groups and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Federal Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998 provides benefits for mastectomy related services including reconstruction and surgery to achieve symmetry between the breasts, prostheses, and complications resulting from mastectomy.
The goal of a plastic and reconstructive surgeon is to create a soft, natural looking breast for a woman who has lost a breast to cancer. Dr. Villalobos believes this will improve her quality of life and restore femininity. Breast reconstruction can be performed immediately following a mastectomy or delayed because of further treatment by the oncologist or the patient's personal decision.
There are several choices for breast reconstruction. During the consultation, Dr. Villalobos will consider the patient's physical health to determine which reconstruction method would be appropriate. The options available are:
Skin expansion with a tissue expander: A balloon expander or tissue expander is surgically placed beneath the chest muscles, and over several weeks is gradually filled with a saline solution. Once the skin and muscles are stretched, the expander is removed and a softer more anatomic permanent implant is inserted.
Flap Reconstruction: Tissue consisting of a portion of skin, fat and muscle, is taken from the back or abdomen and tunneled to the breast to form a mound. The flap is still attached to its original blood supply. Many women prefer this procedure because the breast is reconstructed with natural tissue. This method may require a long recovery, adds new scars, only one surgery not two as with an expansion and increases time in the hospital. Advantages are an immediately reconstructed breast mound and using your own tissue.
Breast lift (Mastopexy)
Over the years, factors such as pregnancy, nursing, weight loss and the force of gravity take their toll on a woman's breasts. As the skin loses its elasticity, the breasts often lose their shape, firmness, volume and begin to sag. The breast lift or Mastopexy is a procedure to reshape the breast and create or restore a more youthful "perkier" appearance. Many women seek a Mastopexy because pregnancy and nursing have left them with stretched skin and less volume in their breasts. While there are no special risks in the surgery that affect future pregnancies, pregnancy is likely to stretch your breasts again and offset the result of this procedure.
OTHER PROCEDURES
Body Contouring
Massive weight loss can lead to tissue sagging and hanging over in various anatomical areas. We have the ability to cut this redundant tissue out and give you the ability to fit into clothes that complement your new figure.
Scar Revision
Unsightly scars are bothersome and tiresome when people constantly ask questions. Plastic surgeons have techniques to improve or realign scars to make them less noticeable.
Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
Child bearing wreaks havoc on a woman's body. Muscles get over stretched. Stretch marks get left behind. That tummy bulge will not go away. Abdominoplasty gets rid of the excess tissue and lower abdominal stretch marks, while also tightening the muscles to give you that smooth contour and tight tummy you always wanted to gain or regain.
Liposuction
Not a way to lose weight, but the very best way to rid yourself of the fat deposit that will not go away. Diet and exercise have not done it, but liposuction can. Gain the figure you want or just remove the unwanted contour of hips/flanks or abdomen.
Botox Injections
If we could get rid of frown lines or soften heavy wrinkles from overactive muscles
.Botox can and Botox does just that. Botox temporarily (6 weeks to 6 months) paralyzes overactive muscles of facial expression that either creates a permanent angry look or a furrowed brow. Heavy deep "crows feet" wrinkles can also improve.
Chemical Peels
In our practice we offer a wide spectrum of chemical peels that will give new tone and vitality to facial skin. Eliminating fine wrinkles and softening the line of expression can easily be achieved by these peels. Come in for a complete skin evaluation by our certified aesthetician.
Blepharoplasty
When encountering other people 90% of our time in conversation is spent looking at each others eyes. Our youthfulness and our state of rest are communicated by the appearance of our eyes. Blepharoplasty can correct the excess skin that leads to heavy eyelids. This surgery can also correct the puffy bags that sometimes form under our eyes.
Facelift
Over the years, the effects of gravity or massive weight loss can lead to excess skin and tissue on the border of the jaw bone. This also can lead to pronounced wrinkling and a tired/old look.
A facelift and/or neck lift surgery addresses this excess tissue and wrinkling by removing and redefining the facial tissues to give a more refreshed and relaxed look.
Forehead Lift
The effects of gravity on the position of the eyebrows can lead to tired-looking appearances or an angry look despite not feeling angry. A forehead lift, whether done endoscopically (minimal incisions) or open, can correct the eyebrow position and retrain the musculature to give a rested attractive appearance to your eyes and forehead.
Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery)
Whether from trauma, birth, or misfortune, irregularities in the lines of the nose can be bothersome for some individuals. Rhinoplasty surgery can correct these irregularities to achieve the lines and appearance of your nose that you wish to have.
