BREAST SURGERY
• Breast Augmentation
Augmentation mammoplasty is the medical term for breast augmentation. Also referred to as breast enhancement or breast enlargement, this type of plastic surgery involves placing silicone or saline breast implants either behind the breast tissue or beneath the chest muscle to add size, shape, and fullness to the breast. Breast augmentation can be performed to make smaller breasts appear larger, balance breasts that are asymmetrical, or restore fullness that has diminished with age or as a result of pregnancy.
• Reduction / Elevation Breast
Also known as reduction mammaplasty, breast reduction removes excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin to achieve a breast size in proportion with your body and to alleviate the discomfort associated with overly large breasts.
OTHER SURGERY
• Liposculpture
LipoSculpture is an effective, safe and affordable way of removing stubborn deposits of fat from many areas of the body, while dramatically reshaping areas, such as the abdomen, waist, hips, thighs, buttocks, "love handles," knees, arms, and the face and neck.
• Lipostructure
This procedure can be performed in the clinic, during the procedure, we gently removes fat from either the abdomen or buttocks using special suctioning instruments designed to remove the fat without damaging the cells. The fat is then concentrated and is carefully re-injected into the areas to be augmented.
• Buttocks Augmentation
It is said that Jennifer Lopez has done for the rear end what Pamela Anderson has done for the front end. Over the last few years the buttocks and abdomen have received more press coverage than ever before. The brazilian butt lift is not just about big butts!. The brazilian butt lift is a type of butt augmentation procedure which results in a youthful, prominent, perky buttocks and a more sensual body profile.
There are two different ways to enlarge your buttocks: 1) Brazilian Butt Lift: Fat injections or fat transfer to the butt. 2) Butt Implants: Insertion of silicone implants
• Tummy Tuck
"Abdominoplasty,” or a tummy tuck, is a surgical procedure designed to flatten the abdomen by removing excess skin (sometimes caused by liposuction) and fat, tightening the muscles of the abdominal wall. Tummy tucks can dramatically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen.
• Mini - Tummy Tuck
The mini tummy tuck, or partial abdominoplasty, is often an excellent option for people who have a small amount of abdominal skin to be removed and do not have a significantly protruding abdominal muscle wall. Individuals whose abdominal area is beginning to sag due to aging or who have slim abdomens that they wish to sculpt into a more desirable shape may find that a mini tummy tuck is ideal for them.
• MACS Lift
Are the negative cosmetic effects of age reducing your confidence? If you want to do something about it, but don't want to experience the trauma, expense and down time of a face lift, you owe it to yourself to find out about the MACS-Lift.
An S-Lift or MACS-Lift can accomplish just about everything that facelift surgery can accomplish -- with less surgery, less downtime and less cost. It is an ingenious minimally invasive outpatient procedure that is a perfect example of "less is more." It is performed using tumescent local anesthesia and oral sedation (Ativan). The MACS-Lift surgery involves performing only the first half of a facelift. There is an incision hidden along the contours in front of the ear, and none behind the ear or into the scalp. To get an idea of what you would look like after a MACS-Lift, find a picture of yourself from ten years ago: this will give you some idea of what a MACS-lift can do. The MACS-Lift restores the youthful lines and contours of the face and neck by removing excess skin and tightening the underlying facial layers. The MACS-Lift will not make you look like a different person but will make you look younger, more refreshed, rested and healthy. The correction is designed to produce uplifted contours and improved facial tone. Today we are able to give people a natural appearance rather than the "lifted" appearance that was often present after facelifts years ago.
• Rhytidectomy
As people age, the effects of gravity, exposure to the sun, and the stresses of daily life can be seen in their faces. Deep creases form between the nose and mouth; the jawline grows slack and jowly; folds and fat deposits appear around the neck.
A facelift (technically known as rhytidectomy) can't stop this aging process. What it can do is "set back the clock," improving the most visible signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening underlying muscles, and redraping the skin of your face and neck. A facelift can be
done alone, or in conjunction with other procedures such as a forehead lift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping.
If you're considering a facelift, this page will give you a basic understanding of the procedure when it can help, how it's performed, and what results you can expect. It can't answer all of your questions, since a lot depends on the individual patient and the surgeon. Please contact us about anything you don't understand.
• Eyelids Surgery
Blepharoplasty known as eyelid surgery is a surgical procedure to remove fat usually along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids.
Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes, features that make you look older and more tired than you feel, and may even interfere with your vision.
Aging around the eyes is associated with the formation of excess skin folds and eyebags. The loss of skin elasticity affects mainly the upper eyelids. With aging the brow moves downwards so that the eyebrows come to lie below the bony brow ridge. This exaggerates the effect of the excess skin of the eyelid itself.
The aim of this surgery is to reduce the excess skin and flatten the eye-bags.
Eyelid surgery can be done alone, or combined with other facial surgery procedures such as a facelift or browlift.
• Nose Surgery / Rhinoplasty
Also known as rhinoplasty, nose surgery improves the appearance and proportion of your nose, enhancing facial harmony and self confidence. Surgery of the nose may also correct impaired breathing caused by structural abnormalities in the nose.
• Ear Surgery / Otoplasty
Ear surgery, or otoplasty, is usually done to set prominent ears back closer to the head or to reduce the size of large ears.
For the most part, the operation is done on children between the ages of four and 14. Ears are almost fully grown by age four, and the earlier the surgery, the less teasing and ridicule the child will have to endure. Ear surgery on adults is also possible, and there are generally no additional risks associated with ear surgery on an older patient.
If you're considering ear surgery for yourself or your child, this information will give you a basic understanding of the procedure-when it can help, how it's performed, and what results you can expect. It can't answer all of your questions, since a lot depends on your individual circumstances. Please be sure to contact us if there is anything you don't understand about the procedure.
• Chin Surgery / Mentoplasty
A well defined chin helps give balance to the face and creates a major part of one's profile. When people look in the mirror, most focus on the size and shape of their noses, their ears, sagging jowls, or fine wrinkling of the skin. But even though few examine their chins with the same discerning eye, having a "weak chin" is certainly not an asset. Surgeons who specialize in rhinoplasty, or surgery of the nose, are often the first to suggest that changes in chin size or shape may enhance a profile as much as rhinoplasty. It is common for the facial plastic surgeon to recommend chin surgery in addition to nose surgery when the surgeon sees that chin augmentation is necessary to achieve facial balance and harmony. Fortunately, this is a relatively straightforward procedure that can make a major difference.
If you are wondering how chin surgery could improve your appearance, you need to know how the surgery is performed and what you can expect from this procedure. This pamphlet can address many of your concerns and provide you the information to begin considering chin surgery.
Successful facial plastic surgery is a result of good rapport between patient and surgeon. Trust, based on realistic expectations and exacting medical expertise, develops in the consulting stages before surgery. Your surgeon can answer specific questions about your specific needs.
