Chayanne Medical Group DBA BGMG Cosmetics is a safe, reasonably priced, and friendly place for all your cosmetic surgery needs.
The cosmetic surgery market has changed a lot during the last 15 years. Many doctors, frustrated with managed care and HMO payments for their fees, changed their specialty overnight, and after just a weekend seminar, became cosmetic surgeons. Those inexperienced doctors, unfortunately, created many complications and that pushed the legislators to finally create some guidelines and restrictions for the practice of cosmetic surgery.
On the other hand, some businessmen trying to take advantage of the confusion existing in this field started opening multiple centers following a "fast food chain" mentality and management, creating a business with maximum profit mentality in the detriment of patient safety and satisfaction. Patient would see new surgeons and anesthesiologists all the time, and the team is usually not used to work with each other, creating misunderstanding and sometimes unfortunately serious complications.
At BGMG Cosmetics we have made patient safety our first priority and we provide our patient with a unique team of surgeon/anesthesiologists that have been working together for more than 15 years. We are proud to have only one center, allowing us to dedicate our full attention and care to our patients.
We have mastered the art of cosmetic surgery and its safety to such a great extent that ten years ago we completely stopped using general anesthesia for cosmetic procedures, thus eliminating all the risks involved with this kind of anesthesia.
Dr. Fred Sahafi, our cosmetic surgeon, is board certified by the International Board of Cosmetic surgery and is a member of the American Academy Of Cosmetic Surgery and American Academy of Esthetic Medicine. He has performed more than 20.000 cosmetic procedures, including Breast Augmentation, Breast lift and reduction, Liposuction, tummy Tuck, Rhinoplasty and facial cosmetic surgery. He has been interviewed by national and international news organizations, just to mention a few:
Dr Fred Sahafi is also involved in many different social organizations like:
There are few features of a woman's body that receive more attention than her breasts. A woman's breast size and shape also tends to determine much of a woman's psychological, social, and medical well-being. Many women experience changes in their breasts as they age, after weight loss, or after pregnancy. Also known as Augmentation Mammaplasty, breast augmentation changes the shape and size of a woman's underdeveloped, small, or imbalanced breasts by placing an implant of either silicone or saline behind the breast tissue.
Breasts go through many changes in a lifetime, and these changes are influenced by many conditions. Among them are Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, Weight fluctuations, Aging, Gravity and Heredity.
Breast reduction procedures were introduced to women as a form of relief from back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain caused by bra straps, irritation of the skin underneath pendulous breasts, social embarrassment, and mental distress. This procedure is not usually performed for cosmetic purposes. This procedure is not just for women either. Men who suffer from gynecomastia (abnormal enlargement of male breasts) find relief after having this procedure done as well.
Taken from Greek roots, this medical term literally means “woman-like breasts.” This condition, though not widely talked about, affects an estimated 40 to 60 percent of men, and may affect just one breast or both. This condition is not age-dependent, and symptoms can appear suddenly. This condition can also be caused by hormonal changes, heredity, disease, and by the use of certain drugs. This condition usually causes emotional distress and lower levels of self-confidence. Healthy activities and intimacy are avoided simply to veil the existence of the condition.
Liposuction has gained more and more popularity with both men and women over recent years as the only internationally recognized way of reducing localized fat deposits around the Buttocks, Hips, Thighs, Inner knee, Ankles, Calves, Lower abdomen, Upper abdomen, Flanks, Breasts, Chest area, Upper arms, Back, Cheeks, Chin and Neck.
Many surveys over the years reveal that flat, toned abs are the sexiest part of the human body. Thousands of people spend countless hours trying to flatten their stomach, but to no avail. Many people over the course of life develop a protruding abdomen made up of loose, sagging skin and fatty tissue. The usual causes of a protruding abdomen are Heredity, Heredity, Aging, Significant fluctuations in weight and Prior surgery.
For many reasons, upper arms may begin to sag, and look full or floppy. The causes of this include weight fluctuation, aging, and heredity. Exercise will help regain underlying muscle tone, but exercise will do nothing to trim off the excess skin in the area.
Buttocks enhancement (or augmentation) is designed to create a more attractive buttock through silicone implantation, or fat transplantation from the patient's own body. This is known as fat grafting. Many female patients enhance their breasts and then realize that their back side is no longer proportional. The buttocks enhancement evens out the front-to-back imbalance experienced by these women. Men with flat or poorly developed back sides benefit from this procedure as well by gaining a more favorable shape to their buttock.
If your efforts at fitness and weight loss do not give you the results you desire for your lower body, a thigh lift may be the answer. The purpose of the thigh lift is to reduce the amount of excess skin in the inner thigh area, the outer thigh area, and around the buttock area by reducing the amount of skin and fat in those areas.
The face lift, medically known as the rhytidectomy, allows patients who are showing signs of aging about the face and neck to have these signs erased with no apparent signs of scarring.
The forehead lift (also called the brow lift) erases expression lines in the brow region caused by the aging process.
A neck lift, medically referred to as a platysmaplasty, is designed to remove excess skin and fat tissue from the neck area, and to tighten the platysma muscle if it has began to separate and sag.
Medically called a rhinoplasty, and commonly called a nose job, nose surgery is concerned with improving the appearance of the nose by adding or removing bone tissue, cartilage, or both.
When people age, they may develop sagging under the eyes where excess skin and fat tissue accumulate. This characteristic simply makes you look older than you may actually be. In severe cases, this condition may actually encumber eyesight, and may be covered by medical insurance. The medical term for the procedure used to correct this condition is blepharoplasty, and is limited to correcting the eye area.
True beauty has many different measures, and few beautiful features are considered as timeless as high cheek bones and a strong chin. There are many people born without these features, but they can be added with permanent results throughout your life. That is the purpose of chin and cheek implants. Surgeons oftentimes recommend chin implants to patients who are considering nose surgery as an alternative to nose surgery because a small, undefined chin makes your nose stand out and look disproportionately big. Adding a chin implant may greatly reduce the perceived size of your nose by adding prominence to a receding chin. The materials surgeons use are most commonly made from bone, fat, Alloderm, silicone, or Gore-tex®.
Otoplasty is the medical term for the aesthetic correction of the outer ear. Many adults have painful memories of being made fun of as a child because of certain unusual features of their ears. When a child’s general growth reaches a certain point, usually between the ages of four and six years (most surgeries on children are performed between the ages of four and fourteen), they become candidates for an Otoplasty if needed. The most obvious benefit to having an Otoplasty performed on a child at such a young age is that he or she will then be able to avoid the emotional trauma of being made fun of because of their ears. Adults of any age can become candidates for this procedure.
